Background & Experience
Her practice is grounded in a strengths-based, person-centered perspective that honors clients as the experts of their own lived experiences. Emma’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College and a Master of Social Work degree from Boston College, with a concentration in health. She has extensive clinical experience providing individual and group therapy and case management in an outpatient hospital setting for adult clients, as well as experience working with student-athletes in a university setting. She regularly works with clients experiencing life transitions, anxiety, and depression. Emma draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, tailoring her approach to meet each client's unique needs and goals. She incorporates a variety of treatment modalities into her work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her approach is empathetic, collaborative, and empowering, aimed at fostering resilience and personal growth.
